Surviving Ft. Alice Grace is a continuously evolving and mutating track introduced by punching kicks, a sad but subtle stab and the hypnotic voice of Alice Grace introducing you to the quaking sub driven drop. An aggressively programmed relentless low end and aspiratory lead ensues, leading into a switched stuttered verse which is sure to keep you moving. Breaking down into the next build up, this is a dubstep track that goes places.
Complemented on the flip side with the Instrumental dubstep track Shine, a wholly darker more emotional experience. Starting in a sad dark place, shine provokes emotion and feeling building into a happier more reflective vibe as the track progresses. With driving dark synths and arpeggios this track continuously builds and grows slowly turning into an epic dubstep showpiece.

New Drum and Bass Out Today – Breeze Block – Too Late Ft Skyro / In Good Time – Liquid Goodness
XYRDNBS005 - Breeze Block Too Late Ft. Skyro / In Good Time Out Today
XYRecords are proud to announce that the long awaited new drum and bass release from Breeze Block & Skyro’ is out now. Too Late and In Good Time by Breeze Block and Skyro is the eagerly anticipated follow up from Breeze Block & Emillion’s debut release Fusion/Believe.
Hot on the heels of Breeze Block’s debut release Fusion, “Too Late Feat Skyro” cements Breeze Block’s skill as a drum and bass producer
Breeze Block has hooked up with fellow producer/musician Skyro to craft “Too Late”. A melancholic guitar slowly slips along with a melodic piano part subtly building and then boom in it comes. A big sidechained hook, unrelenting beats, pianos and a simple female vocal hook give Too Late’s menacing drive a lighter faster edge, whilst slyly impassioning the listener. Deceptively addictive drum and bass from Breeze Block and Skyro.
On the flipside “In Good Time” is a quality Drum and bass dance floor roller with a haunting vocal which repeats the mantra of ‘wasting time’, experiencing this roller is anything but that. With a ghostly off-beat synth stab, lush Drum and Bass soundscapes, a tumbling melody and perfectly placed bass lines, plus some interesting background instrumentals whilst maintaining a fast pace. In Good Time is sure to keep everyone moving no matter what.
“Too Late Feat Skyro” is available digitally from all good stores now. Buy iTunes today.

Introducing New Drum and Bass Artist Breeze Block – Knowledge Magazine Interview
Breeze Block's Interview in Knowledge Mag
Breeze Block was recently interviewed on Knowledge Magazine, the Original and Best Drum and Bass Magazine, talking about his new release out next week, “Too Late Ft. Skyro”, collaborations and the future.
New producer Breeze Block hails from Brighton. Keen and prolific, he has been producing since the age of 16 and recently signed with XY Records. Breeze Block’s debut new drum and bass release Fusion / Believe is a collaboration with Emillion and is available in all good stores now. We caught up with the man himself to find out more…
How long have did you work on your first release?
It probably took a couple weeks to make in total, which actually came as a surprise to me and Sam (Emillon) at how fast we managed to put it together. The initial idea of Believe and Fusion took a while to come up with, but once we got the chords for the piano, everything seemed to come together quite nicely. We found that once we get the basis for a tune, it gives us the momentum to just sit down and focus for however long it may be. Mixing down the tunes probably took the most time, we found – especially with Believe – it was hard to get everything to stand out because their was a lot going on in the track.
Tell us about which type of sound you were trying to achieve?
Believe was the first track we made, we tried to go for a fairly original blend of dark drum & bass mixed with the more melodic side that you get with liquid tracks…….
Refix: Studio musings, releases and an exclusive mix
New Dubstep Producers Refix Interviewed in the Independent Online.
Great interview with Our Dubstep trio Refix on the Independent Online with Errol Anderson of Decibel Soup
Genuine, heart-felt dubstep from the heart of a North Kent Downs farm is what the savvy trio that make up the Refix outfit are bringing to the next TB feature. Read up about their rural-based studio musings, latest releases and find an exclusive mix from the boys.
How did you guys meet up and get into music?
Ben: Basically, I moved in next to Joe when I was about 20 and always had a musical background separate from what Joe was doing. Then one day, I went over to his house – because I knew he had a studio – and we just started making beats for fun at first. Then it got a bit more serious and we started Refix. After a few years of just me and Joe, now Matt’s on board as well. We spend most of our time down at Matt’s studio working down in the lovely countryside. It’s nice being in the countryside and not in London.
Joe: It’s in the North Kent Downs. Kind of in the middle of nowhere really. You couldn’t get any more middle of nowhere if you tried. The studio’s in a stable; put it that way.
Does that lack of distractions help you guys when it comes to making music then?
